Lois Jolley, the creator and proprietor of Jolley Essentials, brings both entrepreneurial spirit and cultural pride to her skincare and body care brand. Born and raised in New York City with family roots in Sierra Leone, West Africa, Lois has long valued the simple yet powerful traditions she grew up with. As a young girl, she used African net material every day as part of her bathing routine—a staple in her household and a treasured part of her heritage. Inspired by the beauty and effectiveness of this traditional tool, Lois came up with the idea in 2022 to design a luffa made from African net material, sparking the creation of Jolley Essentials.
